WISDOM

Bullies.....sometimes if you can't beat them, you have to join them.....

Welcome
'Wisdom' is a short feature film of 50 minutes shot entirely in the Australian Capital Territory during October and November 2008;

 The story:

Nova Lowry is a 16 year old girl who struggles to cope with her emotionally unstable mother a year after the tragic death of her older sister, Wisdom.

Bullied at home and school and ignored by a depressed mother, Nova discovers that she will do almost anything to survive.  The story unfolds through Nova's eyes as it takes us on an emotional journey through the pain of bullying, sibling rivalry and the impact of teenage death on families.

There are discoveries of young romance, breaking up of unrewarding friendships and of new strength that comes from the need to survive.
